Nectar is coming out swinging with their first vape cartridge for the California cannabis market. Featuring a 100% solvent free oil including all natural organic terpenes inside a top of the line cartridge, Nectar is set on educating the market on how to elevate a vape product.
Featuring bright and fun graphics, we received our Strawberry Lemonade cartridge and were excited to dive in to the colorful package. The inside featured comprehensive information on the oil used and how best to prep the cartridge which I appreciated, in an effort to properly instruct consumers on how best to enjoy the product. The cartridge itself struck us immediately as a high quality item, featuring Pyrex glass, ceramic coil and smooth white ceramic mouthpiece.
After attaching to our favorite battery we were immediately struck by the smooth sensation and fantastic flavor. I'm usually not a fan of any additional flavor inside of my cartridges but the mild and creamy taste of lemon and berries was so well integrated I was blissfully taken aback. While it may be advertised as Strawberry Lemonade the taste could best be described as sipping a glass of chilled Blueberry Lemonade with a round tree-fruit flavor hiding just behind a bright citrus lift. The hits produced by the ceramic heating element were large and plentiful with an extremely consistent taste and flavor that never developed into the typical off-putting or burned mouth feel pronounced at the end of most cartridges. As the box described, the effects were immediate with a cerebral heaviness without the headache usually felt with flavor enhanced products. I would describe the effects category as a sativa hybrid, not entirely body focused by any means yet creative and playful.
We can't wait to see what other flavors the chefs and scientists of Nectar can develop next! If the Strawberry Lemonade is anything to go by, look out for more high quality cartridges in the near future!
Appearance 4.5/5 - Bright and colorful packaging that manages to entice and educate! The cartridge itself looks great but feels even better.

Effects 4/5 - Large and consistent hits lead to great pronounced effects without lingering side effects.
Overall 4.5/5 - An excellent first entry to the cannabis market, Nectar has a lot to live up to in it's excellent first vape cartridge.
